I was tagged with a meme from Sam. Here's 8 things you may not know about each of my kids.

Taylor

1. He is amazing with directions. He's pretty good with North / East / South / West. He's great at remembering places, and even better at remembering how to get places. Not only does he remember "yeah we've been here before" but he can tell your street names and everything. He's so much better than me. Sometimes he's my navigational system!

2. He considers himself to be one of the big kids. When we have dinner with the rest of my family, he refers to my neice and nephews as the "little kids," and he's really not much older than them.

3. He is afraid of the dark. Shhhh! Don't tell him that I said anything. He has separation issues, which I think started it all.

4. He tells it like it is. To me: "you dress like a boy." Ahhh gotta love it!

5. He is a white boy through and through. The poor kid has no rhythm nor can he hold a tune. It's not for lack of trying though!

6. He likes to cook & bake. He's always wanting to help making food.

7. He's a huge animal lover. He always wants to help find lost animals, wants to adopt every animal he sees, and always has an instant rapor with animals. It's adorable.

8. He is the best big brother in the world. He's always by Bentley's side. Always picking him up and carrying him around. Always ready to entertain him & make him laugh. He never gets tired of watching him, hanging out with him, or sharing his toys. He even shares toys with him that he hides from the "little kids" when they come over.

Bentley

1. This is one smart kid. He knows wheels (on bikes and trucks) go down & they roll. He knows when things fit inside something else, he knows things can go INTO the toilet... He knows things with a cord plug into the wall...on Easter Taylor got an Etch-a-Sketch, and the second Bentley saw it, he picked it up & started turning the knobs. I don't think he's ever seen one before so this was very pleasing to see.

2. He likes to spin in circles...even on his butt in the bath, as we discovered tonight.

3. He has no fear. He will climb on top of things, stand on things he shouldn't (things with wheels). WHen he falls down, he might cry but he'll get right back up and go raight back to it.

4. Okay so he has 2 fears. One is Elmo. My brother Troy got him a Tickle Me Elmo for Christmas. He runs from that thing! Maybe one day we'll get some use out of it. The Easter bunny. We tried to get a picture of the boys with the Easter Bunny, but as soon as the bunny moved Bentley freaked out & wouldn't go near him.

5. The only stuffed animal he likes is a huge dog his brother bought him. Other stuffed animals he'll play with for a second, then their time is over.

6. The kid is comedy. He's a goof and a half! He likes making people laugh. He squints his eyes to look cute. He "yells" at his cousin's dog cause he always sees his aunt do it...

7. He doesn't talk, but he understands well. He can understand simple commands even if he hasn't heard them before. If you just point the way or encourage him, he gets it.

8. He has the biggest heart. If we're picking on his brother, he'll start getting upset until we stop. He loves animals. He always wants to help...you can just tell he's going to always be a sweety. (Maybe not as much while he's a teenager...but we know it'll still be there underneath it all).
